Want to be Saved?

How do you get saved?

THREE STEPS TO SALVATION:

  1. Acknowledge (say to yourself and God) that you are a sinner and that you need Jesus Christ to forgive you.(Romans 6:7, 20-23, Romans 14:12).
  2. Believe that Jesus Christ took the punishment for you when He died on the Cross. (I Corinthians 15:1-3).
  3. Confess to others that you are now saved. (Romans 10: 9-10).

Once you have followed these three steps you are now saved from the punishment of your sins. You can spend eternal life in heaven with Jesus. Jesus Christ is now your personal Savior because you have personally asked Him into your life.

Welcome to God’s Family!

SCRIPTURES TO USE TO HELP ASSURE YOU OF YOUR SALVATION:
St. John 3:16 –18

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosovever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth is not condemned but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.

St. John 10:27-28

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:   28and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

  1. Debra,

I was truly blessed and encouraged when I saw you
the other day. I know that the Word says “prefect love casteth
out fear” however, for a moment I slipped. The information that you had given caused me to be less fearful.
Congratulations!!!!!!!! I am overwhelmed seeing God move in your life.

    • So glad you came to the blog!
And perfect love does cast out all fear. Don’t worry about “slipping”.
Circumstances can distract us. I pray that God teaches us both how to not be moved when “evil tidings” come our way. (See Psalm 112.)
