I didn’t spend loads of time praying today. I did more thinking.
Too often I live in a poverty-conscious mode. That is, I keep expect that I will run out of resources (usual financial) before all tasks/needs have been met.
I have actually reach the point of an anxiety attack! 😦
This is not of God, I know. What do I do?
1. I started rehearsing how far I have come in building a stable financial base for myself. (Years ago, I didn’t even have my own checking account.)
2. I quoted scriptures regarding how God will provide for me .(Proverbs 22:4 By humility and fear of the Lord are riches, honor, and life.) Worrying about lack is not what I am supposed to be keeping on my mind. I need to focus on today. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble in it (Matthew 6:34).
3. I searched online and started reading others quotes and explanations about the provision of God. (http://dailychristianquote.com/dcqprovision.html and http://thingsgodtaughtme.wordpress.com/2007/07/01/according-to-the-riches-of-glory-what-does-that-mean/)
4. I will close this entry with a challenge question. What day has come that God did not provide what you needed, not wanted, for that day?
I can think of no day. There has never been a day that I needed a supply of something: be it money, food, or someone to help me that it was not provided?
Can you think of such a day?

I just wanted to encourage you again about the provisions of God.
I was reminded again this week that God is not a withholder of good things unto His children. Righteousness breeds honor and favor from the Lord. Check yourself: are you living righteously? If so, then begin to swap your doubt for a stronger stand in God’s word. If you find yourself in need, stifle the complaint and know that Satan is feeding incorrect thoughts to your mind. Dismiss Satan’s lies and refocus your mind. God wants to freely give you all things*. He did not withhold Jesus His Son who came to earth and bore the punishment at the cross for mankind’s sins.
God will supply your need. (And just in case, you feel that the need is not being supplied soon enough, remember that God does not work in the limitations of time that binds us.) He is also never late!
Keep living according to his principles– He’s going to come through for us!
Romans 8:32 (King James Version) “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”
God knows you are here.
If you are believer, God know you are here. No matter what choices you have made, God will not dismiss you. He will ask for your repentance and there may be consequences to endure because of your actions. YET, there will never be a punishment that equals His forgetting you. (Family, friends, or others may forget you. But God never forgets anything or anyone.) He knows that you are on this planet at this point in history. Rest in His love and care.
Furthermore if you are are committed to being righteous, He has promised us certain benefits including providing for us and our “seed never begging for bread”. He will make provision for you. His provision for the day may not be what you expected or wanted but it will always be enough for that day! 🙂
God knows that you are here.
If you are a non-believer God know you are here as well. NOTHING you have done makes Him ignore your existence. He yearns for you to repent or turn away from wrong-doing. He longs for you to yield yourself to Him. He loves you and is calling your name.
Start trusting, start knowing that:
God knows you are here
God knows you are here
You are not alone
Revisiting the topic about provision I started last week.
I was discussing the idea with an associate and he commented that it’s God’s business how He will provide for us. We should not fret about how He will provide. Provision is His business; our business is to trust that He will provide. 🙂
