Our God he is our God for ever and ever: He will be our guide even unto death.~ Psalm 48:14
We can find solace in knowing that God will never leaves us alone. Thankfully, He has promised to show us the way through life. We can not effectively, righteously live this life via our knowledge. Oh how gracious He is, the Knower of all things, to lead us through the moments of our lives.
No matter our station, no matter what we’ve done, we can call on Him for help. He will show up to guide you all way!
Hello all: Happy New Year!
Attached to a new year is the reflection of what happened in the old year. Often we find ourselves asking ourselves,” Did I do what I said I was going to do? Which of the New Year’s resolutions promised from the beginning of the year did I keep? What were my New Year’s resolutions anyway?”
If all this is still swirling in your mind, take heart. I understand your feelings. I understand this feeling of making resolutions and not keeping resolutions so well that I do not make New Year’s resolutions anymore. I’ve come to see that too often, I won’t be keeping them by the end of the first quarter of the year. I get frustrated at myself and it just wastes my energy which I need for actually getting something done…like typing in a blog entry here. 🙂
Therefore, make no long list of New Year’s resolutions that you may not remember by January’s end.
I encourage you instead to think of just one thing that would really improve your life this year. Take that one thought, think about it over and over again. Next plan how to make the idea go from ‘just an idea’ to reality, and then work out a small section of your plan at least on a weekly basis.
See how good you’ll feel this year and presumably even at the start of next year.
