Did You Pray For Another?

Hello all:

I wanted to encourage you that if you feel led to pray for another person — just do it.

You may not feel qualified to do so, yet let that not stop you. God does not necessarily give the leading to do a job to him who is qualified. God gives the leading to complete a task to him who is available.

Plus, after we have done as God instructs we get yet another blessing. Remember he who is “willing and obedient shall eat the good of the land” ~ Isaiah 1:19

Want Energy To Do God’s Service? — Here’s A Prayer To Help

Hello all:

There are some of you who realize that the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross has and, as you apply it in your daily walk, it continues to keep you from sinning.

Here’s a prayer to help you work for Him. You know He does not make keep us holy just for ourselves (See the King JamesĀ  and THE MESSAGE BIBLE versions of Ephesians 1:17-19).

Ephesians 1:17-19 (KJV)
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

Ephesians 1:17- 19 (THE MESSAGE BIBLE)
17 But I do more than thank. I ask – ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory – to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, 18 your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for Christians, 19 oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him – endless energy, boundless strength!

That the Father might grant this prayer for and within us.

Working in His Service Too,

What Is Your Experience?

Hello all:

In a recent reading of scripture I came across I Kings 8:26 (KJV) ” And now, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be verified, which thou spokest unto thy servant David my father”.

The Amplified Version reads,” Now, O God of Israel, let Your Word which You spoke to Your servant David my father be confirmed [by experience].

I thought, “Oh how much we need this prayer to be true in our lives”.
How often do we doubt God? Most of us on too frequent a basis. But if we have personal experiences with the Master in which He has resolved some circumstance in our life — our relief, confidence, and rest in God swells. We can say to our flesh and Satan that God has come through for us yet again.
May this prayer that I know Jehovah God by experience be our victory statement each and every day!
